With our spacious new facility and professional classroom environment, American EMT Academy provides hands-on EMT training for students ready to start a career in emergency medical services.

This class meets Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 9am to 5pm each day for 6 weeks. At the end of the class you will take (2) 12 hour ambulance ride alongs. Once you complete the program you will be allowed to take the National Registry exam and apply for your license.
The Emergency Medical Technician Basic course is designed to prepare you for working as an EMT on an ambulance or in a hospital. This course is 6 weeks long and will prepare you for taking the National Registry test. The skills you will learn include CPR, Patient Assessment, Splinting, bandaging and much more.
Our course is unique in that we are approved through the county of San Bernardino (ICEMA) and Riverside County (REMS) and we will cover all the topics you need for Los Angeles County and all other counties in California. So no matter where you want to start your career you will be well prepared.

During a hectic time in my life and a short window to complete an EMT course. American EMT Academy was a blessing they offered everything I needed. An Accelerated course and probably the most affordable in the market. The friendly staff and expertise that came with their instructors was just a plus. I have no affiliation to American EMT Academy other than former student. I would would recommend this program to anyone seeking a career in EMS. Even their AHA CPR/AED Basic Life Support class was a great experience.

This program was awesome! I did the hybrid course so I was able to do the work on my own time. Then when I went in for the skills portion, I met Chris and Dana and they were very friendly and helpful. It was a fun environment and Chris really knows his stuff!
